Air Fryer French Bread Pizza is quick, cheesy, and customizable. This easy recipe makes the best homemade pizza in minutes.

Cheap and Easy Dinner Idea
Air Fryer French Bread Pizza is the ultimate shortcut for pizza night.
Growing up, we didn't get pizza that often, but sometimes mom would let me buy those little frozen French bread pizzas.
I thought of frozen pizzas as such a treat back then. I suppose some of the appeal was the independence of preparing my own meal. Today, I make these French Bread Pizzas in the Air Fryer for quick lunches and easy dinners.
In less than 10 minutes, you have crispy edges, gooey cheese, and a hot homemade pizza that beats the pants off delivery.
So skip rolling out the pizza dough, this time. And let the Air Fryer make pizza magic.

Ingredients
Top these easy homemade pizzas any way you want.
- French Bread loaf -- Choose a loaf that's crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.
- Olive Oil
- Garlic Salt
- Pizza Sauce -- I often use leftover pasta sauce or canned tomato sauce with Italian seasoning and garlic salt added.
- Mozzarella Cheese -- I prefer grating my own from the block for the best flavor and cost savings.
- Pepperoni Slices -- or any topping you like.

Substitutions & Variations
- French Bread - Use a baguette or any crusty bread for a quick pizza crust.
- Pizza Sauce - Leftover spaghetti sauce or tomato sauce with seasonings of your choice works well.
- Vegetarian French Bread Pizza - top with vegetables of your choice, but note that higher moisture veggies, such as fresh tomatoes, can make your pizza crust soggy.

Storage
I find these are best made to order, so they are cheesy, gooey, crisp, and delicious. Thankfully, they only take minutes to make and Air Fry.
However, if you have leftovers, allow to cool completely and wrap in foil or plastic wrap. Reheat in the Air Fryer until cheese is melted and heated through.
Top Tip
Stretch your budget by buying day-old French bread from the bakery section. It's often discounted, and once toasted in the Air Fryer, it turns perfectly crispy for pizza.
You can also save money by using leftover pasta sauce instead of pizza sauce and shredding your own cheese instead of buying pre-shredded.
FAQ
Absolutely! Simply assemble them and wrap in plastic or aluminum foil. To cook, remove wrapping and Air Fry from frozen at 350 until crispy, hot, and bubbly.
This makes a great budget-friendly, make-ahead meal.
