For decades, Pittsburg celebrated its big nights out at Jim's Steakhouse. Billy Bob's now carries that storied tradition forward, and the local community is thrilled.
It hits every nostalgic note of a classic Midwestern steakhouse: dim lighting, cozy booths, sizzling cuts, and attentive service that makes you feel like a regular on your first visit.
What We Ate:
- The Beef Filet: Buttery, perfectly seared, and absolutely worth the upgrade.
- The $20 Beef Tips dinner: The solid, budget-friendly choice if you want a hearty, flavor-packed steak dinner for less.
- Roasted Caesar salad. Real charcoal flavor, while staying crisp & refreshing.
- Loaded baked potato. Fluffy, steaming, and generously stuffed with butter, sour cream, crispty bacon, green onions, and shredded cheese.
- Brussels sprouts and asparagus. Nicely roasted-I'd order both as side dishes again in a heartbeat.
Know Before You Go:
- The Service: Our waitress was attentive, efficient, and knowledgable about the menu. We worked our way through the menu-from steak tips to ribeye to filet-so you don't have to.
- Reservations: Highly recommended, especially on weekends. They do accept walk-ins if you don't mind waiting a bit.
