1boxRed Lobster Cheddar Bay Biscuit Mix mixed according to the box
½cupSharp Cheddar Cheeseshredded for the biscuit mix
Instructions
In a small saucepan, melt 3 Tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat.
3 Tablespoons Butter
Saute onions and garlic until tender. Being careful not to brown the garlic.
¼ cup Onion, 1-2 cloves Garlic
Add the flour and cook until thickened and lightly browned.
3 Tablespoons Flour
Add broth and bring to a boil. Cook for 2-3 minutes until thickened.
2 cups Chicken Broth
Remove from heat and add cream.
¼ cup Heavy Whipping Cream
Spread the chicken in the bottom of an 11x7 casserole dish and top with frozen vegetables.
2 cups Cooked chicken, 12 ounces Frozen Mixed Vegetables, Salt and Black Pepper - to taste
Pour sauce over the top and stir to combine.
Make the biscuit mixture according to package being careful not to over stir. Top the chicken filling with the biscuit topping. Leave room between biscuits to allow room for browning.
1 box Red Lobster Cheddar Bay Biscuit Mix , ½ cup Sharp Cheddar Cheese
Bake at 425 for 14-16 minutes or until biscuit tops are golden brown.
Brush the top of the biscuits with melted butter and seasoning packet mixture and serve.
Note: Lift the biscuit to see if the underside is completely cooked. If it appears to be underdone and the tops are brown enough, loosely cover the biscuit tops with aluminum foil to prevent the tops from getting too brown while the bottoms finish cooking.
