Peel and slice apples. Toss them in lemon juice and 1 Tablespoon of water to prevent browning.
4 large Apples, 1 teaspoon Lemon Juice, 1 Tablespoon Water
Mix apple slices and blackberries in a 9 inch baking dish.
3 cups Blackberries
Add sugar, salt, flour, and cinnamon. Stir well.
3 Tablespoons Sugar, ⅛ teaspoon Kosher Salt, ¼ teaspoon Cinnamon, 1 cup All Purpose Flour, 3 Tablespoons All Purpose Flour
Make crumble topping by mixing flour, brown sugar, salt, and cinnamon in a medium bowl. Press the butter cubes into the flour mixture using your fingers or a fork until the mixture is crumbly. Stir in vanilla.
¼ cup Brown Sugar, 1 stick Butter, ¼ teaspoon Cinnamon, 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract , 1 pinch Kosher Salt
Sprinkle the crumble topping over the fruit mixture.
Bake at 375 degrees F for 40-45 minutes or until the fruit is bubbly and the crumble topping is golden brown.
Serve warm or allow to cool. Top with ice cream or whipped cream, if desired.
