Espresso Brownies

Ingredients
Brownies:
- 1 Brownie Mix plus ingredients to prepare
- 1 tablespoon Espresso Powder more or less to taste
- ½ cup Chocolate Chips
For the Frosting:
- 1 ½ cup Powdered Sugar
- ½ teaspoon Espresso Powder more or less to taste
- 2-4 tablespoons Milk
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla
- 1 tablespoon Butter softened
- ¼ teaspoon Kosher Salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325 degrees.
- Prepare an 8x8 or 9x9 glass baking pan.
- Make the brownie mix following the directions on the brownie box.
- Stir in Espresso Powder and chocolate chips.
- Bake until the brownies test done using the toothpick testing approach. Use the box to help guide your cooking time to match your pan. Mine took 50 minutes.
- Allow brownies to cool completely.
- Make the frosting by mixing all ingredients together until smooth.
- Spread over the brownies.
- Cut using a plastic knife for neatly cut brownies.
